Job Title: Youth Worker for Education Roles
Key Information Working Hours: 08:30-16:00, Monday to Friday, Term time only. Contract Type: Long term TEMPORARY Pay Rates: Daily rates from £83 Location: Lambeth Axcis Education are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation dedicated to supporting young people in secondary school and college environments. Their mission is to empower youth, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential through guidance, mentoring, and tailored support programs. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Youth Worker to join their team, working within secondary schools and college settings. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one and group support to students in secondary schools and college settings. • Develop and deliver programs aimed at enhancing life skills, resilience, and emotional well-being. • Act as a mentor and positive role model, building trust and rapport with young people. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for students. • Address issues such as bullying, peer pressure, mental health, and academic challenges. • Facilitate workshops and activities that promote personal growth, confidence, and community involvement. • Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress, ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding practices are upheld. • Identify and respond to the individual needs of students, providing guidance and resources to help them succeed.
