Job Title: Teaching Assistant
SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Ealing) Position: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Ealing, Greater London Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Axcis Education is working with a mainstream school in Ealing to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. We are looking for candidates with experience supporting children with speech and language difficulties and Autism, to work both 1:1 and in small groups with students aged 4-11. No day is the same, the role involves supporting nursery age students right through to year6, Key Responsibilities: -Provide support to children with SEN, particularly those with speech and language difficulties and Autism. -Work both 1:1 and in small group settings within the classroom. -Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive environment. -Use PECS and Makaton to facilitate communication. Requirements: -Experience working with SEN in mainstream schools or similar settings. -Knowledge of PECS. -Happy to assist with personal care. -Calm, patient, and able to inspire others. -Able to work effectively as part of a team.
