Axcis Education is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a team of dedicated professionals in local primary schools across the Bolton area. Starting in January 2025, this role is perfect for enthusiastic, compassionate, and skilled individuals eager to make a meaningful impact on students' learning journeys.
Your Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide classroom-based support to teachers, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain engaged.
- Work closely with individual students and small groups to offer targeted intervention, supporting literacy, numeracy, and other key areas of development.
- Support children with SEND requirements, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties, fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment.
- Assist with classroom preparation, lesson delivery, and behaviour management.
- Act as a positive role model, inspiring confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Have prior experience working in a primary school or with children aged 4–11.
- Show empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to supporting children with diverse needs.
- Be a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a valid DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
