About the Role: As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality teaching across various year groups. You will cover teacher planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time, ensuring continuity of learning for students. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum. - Foster a positive learning environment where every child feels supported and inspired. - Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of pupils, including those with SEND requirements. - Collaborate with school staff to ensure seamless transitions between lessons and year groups. - Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff. The Ideal Candidate: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. - Strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to different year groups. - A positive and flexible approach to teaching and working in diverse school environments. - Experience working with primary-aged children, including those with SEND, is highly desirable.
