This is a secondary school with a PRU-style approach, offering a highly nurturing environment for students who struggle in mainstream education. The setting has a strong forest school ethos, with learning often taking place outdoors, through practical, therapeutic and creative activities. About the Role: We’re looking for full-time Learning Support Assistants to work with pupils aged 11–16 on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping them re-engage with education and feel safe, seen, and supported. The students often present with Autism (ASD), ADHD, MLD, SEMH, and complex needs. Some may have experience of school refusal, trauma, or social exclusion. We're also open to candidates from creative and alternative education backgrounds—such as those with degrees or experience in art, drama, performance, music, or outdoor learning—as well as youth workers and individuals skilled in working with challenging behaviour.
