Job Title: SEND Teacher
Axcis Education are working with a specialist school in the Kirkham (PR4) area which caters to children aged 4-19. We are looking for a qualified teacher to work with their sixth form pupils. You will need to be able to manage a class of around 12 children with varying special needs, such as autism, ADHD and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The behaviour in this class is generally good. The learning level is around KS1/KS2 - meaning primary teachers are also encouraged to apply. There are a large number of Teaching Assistants also in the class to support you and the children. You will need to posses qualified teacher status (QTS). You will work with a forward thinking school in the Kirkham (PR4) area. The school has excellent support networks and is well known in the community for it's culture and work.
