Job Title: HR and Administration Assistant
An excellent opportunity has become available for a dedicated and organised HR & Administration Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Reading. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in providing high-quality administrative and staff support.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the school’s HR function, ensuring employee records, recruitment processes and compliance procedures are managed efficiently. You will be responsible for assisting with onboarding new staff, maintaining accurate personnel files, coordinating interview schedules, processing references and DBS documentation, and supporting the wider administration team when needed.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Previous experience in HR, recruitment or school administration would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right individual.
