Job Title: Year 4 Class Teacher
Position: Year 4 Class Teacher
Location: Wandsworth, London
Contract: Full-Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm
Salary: £150 - £170 per day
We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate Year 4 Class Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in the heart of Wandsworth, London. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing innovative and engaging learning experiences to ensure the academic and social development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare and deliver the National Curriculum to the Year 4 class with creativity and enthusiasm.
• Assess and record student progress, preparing reports and participating in parent-teacher meetings.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages children to reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the wider school community to enhance teaching practices and contribute to curriculum development.
• Manage classroom resources effectively to deliver stimulating lessons.
• Implement school policies and uphold the highest standards of discipline and behaviour management.
Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Key Stage 2 teaching, particularly with Year 4.
• Excellent understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, for dialogue with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing personal development and a willingness to learn new skills.
