Position: Teaching Assistant Location: Hampton, Greater London Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 08:00?–?15:30) Salary: Paid to scale Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support classroom delivery in a vibrant primary/secondary setting in Hampton. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development for all pupils. Key Responsibilities • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to reinforce lesson content. • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays. • Supervise pupils during classroom activities, lunch, and recess, ensuring safety and well-being. • Monitor and record student progress, communicating observations to teachers and parents as required. • Help manage behaviour using school policies and positive reinforcement strategies. • Contribute to the planning and delivery of differentiated activities that meet diverse learning needs. • Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events. Essential Qualifications & Experience • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics (grade C/4 or above). • Experience working with children in an educational setting (voluntary or paid). • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment. • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection standards.
