Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: St Austell
Pay: £89–£90 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you have experience working with autism and challenging behaviour? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school community in St Austell this September.
About the Role:
This full-time position will involve supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, with a focus on children with autism and behavioural needs. You may be working on a 1:1 basis or providing small group support. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, and you’ll be part of a team that truly makes a difference.
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Experience working with children or vulnerable adults with SEND
- A good understanding of autism and strategies to manage challenging behaviour
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children to thrive academically and emotionally
