Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant – Poole (Start: September) Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a background in supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team from September, supporting a Year 2 pupil with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis. About the Role: This is a highly rewarding role, focused on building a strong, trusting relationship with one child to support their learning and emotional development throughout the school day. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider pastoral team to deliver personalised support that meets the pupil’s specific SEMH needs. You will be instrumental in helping this pupil thrive in their classroom environment, encouraging positive behaviour, engagement in learning, and social interaction. In return, you will be fully supported by a dedicated team, including experienced SEND professionals and a leadership team who value and invest in their staff.
