Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEND support
Teaching Assistant (SEND Support) – Full Time Location: Altrincham, Greater Manchester School: Mainstream Primary Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Contract: Until July 2026 (for the right candidate) Start Date: 9th June Axcis Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded mainstream primary school in Altrincham to recruit an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant. This full-time role involves providing 1:1 support for two children in Year 5 with special educational needs and learning difficulties. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils with SEND in a UK primary school setting, and be confident with both written and spoken English. We're looking for someone nurturing, empathetic, and able to build strong, trusting relationships with children. You'll be joining a supportive school community that values inclusivity and high standards. Working alongside class teachers and SEN staff, you’ll help ensure that the children are fully engaged in their learning and making progress both academically and emotionally. This is a long-term opportunity that will run through to July 2026 for the right person.
