Job Title: Teaching Assistant SEMH
Axcis Education are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a primary SEMH school in the Trafford area starting in September 2025 on a full time basis. The position is working primarily in small groups, booster sessions and on a 1:1 and 2:1 basis in the nurture provision with SEND students. The hours are 8.30-3.30 and the rate of pay is between £90-96 PAYE, depending on your previous experience. A knowledge of social, emotional and mental health, and of the autistic spectrum condition is paramount due to the range of needs that the school supports. Their holistic and diverse approach to the curriculum is designed to support the school ethos of respect, having compassion and aspirations, whilst gaining some other key social skills.
