Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEMH
A welcoming primary school in South Manchester is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a SEND classroom. This long-term role also involves working part of the week in the school’s Forest School provision. The position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting after the upcoming half-term.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with SEMH needs and a calm, resilient approach to behaviour. A genuine interest in outdoor learning is important, as the role includes helping facilitate nature-based activities. A TA qualification is beneficial but not essential for candidates with relevant experience.
