Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Hampton, London Contract Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Hampton, London. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in an inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: • Assist teachers in the delivery of tailored educational programs for students with diverse needs. • Provide one-on-one support to students to help them overcome barriers to learning. • Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). • Foster a positive, engaging, and safe learning atmosphere. • Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to educators and families. • Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills related to SEND education. Qualifications: • Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable. • A relevant qualification in education or child development is preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • A patient, empathetic approach to working with children.
