Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Hampton, London Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Salary: Paid to Scale Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic educational team in Hampton, London. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing tailored support to enhance their learning experiences and promote their independence. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering an engaging and inclusive curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND. • Support learners in their emotional and social development, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students. • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals. • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring the well-being of all students. Qualifications and Skills: • Experience or qualification in working with children with SEND is desirable. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and staff alike. • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs. • Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
