The successful candidate will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing tailored support to enhance their learning experiences and promote their independence. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering an engaging and inclusive curriculum tailored to meet the needs of students with SEND. • Support learners in their emotional and social development, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students. • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals. • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere, ensuring the well-being of all students. Qualifications and Skills: • Experience or qualification in working with children with SEND is desirable. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and staff alike. • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs. • Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive educational environment.
