Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant (Autism & Complex Needs)
Location: NW9 (Brent) Salary: £89 per day (PAYE) Hours: Full-time, 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM About the Role: We are currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to support students with Autism and complex needs in a large secondary school setting. This inclusive and well-resourced environment caters to students aged 11–19, providing tailored education and support that promotes independence and wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist setting with a passionate and experienced team. Key Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with Autism and complex learning needs. • Assist with communication strategies, sensory activities, and behaviour support plans. • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver a holistic learning experience. • Help create a positive and structured environment that meets students' individual needs. Skills and Experience: • Enhanced Child & Adult DBS (or Willingness to apply and pay for a new one) • Experience supporting students with Autism, complex needs, or PMLD. • Calm, patient, and proactive approach to behaviour and learning support. • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
