Job Title: SEND TA - CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR/ ASD
Location: Southwark Position: Full-Time Secondary Teaching Assistant Daily Rate: £95 We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our team in Southwark. This full-time role involves working closely with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and those exhibiting challenging behaviour. Key Responsibilities: Support students with ASD and challenging behaviour to access the curriculum. Work one-on-one or in small groups to provide targeted support. Assist the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and creating a positive learning environment. Implement behaviour management strategies and encourage positive outcomes. Help students develop social, emotional, and academic skills. Liaise with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure each student’s individual needs are met. Requirements: Previous experience working with students with ASD and/or challenging behaviour (preferred). Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A caring and patient approach to supporting students with diverse needs. A genuine passion for supporting the education and development of young people.
