Job Title: SEND PRIMARY TEACHING ASSISTANT
Location: N2 Position: Full-Time Primary Teaching Assistant Daily Rate: £95 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school in N2. This full-time role focuses on supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to fully engage in the learning process and reach their potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEND, adapting resources and teaching strategies to meet individual needs. Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment, where all students feel supported and valued. Implement and follow personalised education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and external specialists. Help manage behaviour positively and encourage social, emotional, and academic development in SEND students. Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to the teaching staff and SENCO. Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each student. Requirements: Prior experience working with students with SEND in a primary school setting is essential. A good understanding of different SEND needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning difficulties. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
