Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant
A specialist SEND school in Bromley is seeking experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team on a part-time, long-term basis. The school operates Monday to Thursday (8am–3pm) and Friday (8am–1:30pm), supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs in a nurturing and structured learning environment. The school provides education and care for children and young people with diverse needs, and staff are expected to support pupils across all areas of learning, development, and wellbeing. This includes assisting with classroom activities, promoting engagement, and supporting positive behaviour in line with individual education plans. The ideal candidate will: Have proven experience working in a SEND school or SEND support setting Be confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs Be happy to support pupils across all age groups and abilities Be patient, resilient, and committed to creating a positive learning environment Hold a valid Child & Adult DBS registered on the Update Service This role would suit someone passionate about SEND who is looking for a consistent, rewarding role within a supportive specialist school. Lunch is provided for staff.
