Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a committed primary teaching assistant to provide specialist classroom support to children with speech, language and communication needs in our school in manchester, uk. As a primary teaching assistant, you will deliver interventions and make reasonable adjustments to ensure pupils can access learning, following an assess–plan–do–review cycle. Duties include: - Adapting lessons for children with speech and language difficulties - Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions to build communication skills - Using visual supports, prompts and structured routines - Encouraging confidence and social interaction in line with individual learning plans Requirements: - Experience supporting children with speech and language needs preferred - Strong communication and patience - Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and therapists ??
