Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant
A rewarding opportunity awaits in Wembley for a dedicated individual eager to positively impact a child’s educational journey. Starting in January 2025, this full-time role as a Learning Support Assistant offers the chance to work closely with a child who has Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring their inclusion and progress in a mainstream classroom environment. Your day-to-day schedule will run from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with extended hours on Tuesday until 4:30 PM for team training. The role provides daily pay starting at £83.40, with an increase after 12 weeks. Working directly with the child, you'll create an environment where confidence and independence can flourish while supporting the teacher in delivering inclusive and effective learning activities. If based in the reception class, you may also assist with personal care responsibilities. To thrive in this position, you'll bring either personal or professional experience in supporting children, especially those with SEND. Strong communication skills and the ability to build meaningful connections with young learners are essential. Ideally, you'll hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or a degree from a UK university. Flexibility and a willingness to adapt, including providing personal care when needed, are key attributes for this role. Joining this supportive school community means access to ongoing training, professional development opportunities and the chance to make a real difference in the life of a child. If you are patient, enthusiastic and driven by a desire to see children succeed, this could be the perfect position for you. To apply, please send your CV and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and relevant experience. Submit your application promptly to allow time for the necessary vetting processes.
