Job Title: Primary Teacher
Primary Teacher – Junior School – Dagenham
£180–£240 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term | September Start
Axcis are working with a friendly and well-established junior school in Dagenham who are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working with children in Key Stage 2 and can bring creativity, consistency and strong classroom practice to a busy mainstream setting. The school has a warm community feel, supportive leadership and a clear focus on helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
The school is based in Dagenham and is accessible by local bus routes, with links from Barking, Romford, Ilford and surrounding East London areas. Parking may also be available for staff travelling by car.
About the Role
As the Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum. You will create a positive classroom environment where pupils feel supported, challenged and motivated to make progress.
You will:
• Teach a mainstream Key Stage 2 class on a full-time basis
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across core and foundation subjects
• Support pupils with a range of learning abilities and additional needs
• Use effective behaviour management and clear classroom routines
• Track pupil progress and adapt teaching to close gaps in learning
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants, phase leaders and senior staff
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and the wider school community
What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
• Confident classroom management and clear expectations
• Ability to plan creative, well-structured and differentiated lessons
• A positive, organised and reflective approach to teaching
• Full-time availability and commitment to a long-term role from September
