Location: Slough Pay: Dependent on teacher pay scale Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, on a day-to-day supply basis We are currently seeking a flexible, reliable and enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to work across a variety of mainstream primary schools in Slough on a daily supply basis. This role is well suited to a qualified teacher who enjoys variety in their working week and is confident adapting quickly to different classroom settings while maintaining high standards of teaching and learning. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring that pupils remain engaged, supported and able to continue their learning in the absence of their regular class teacher. A secure understanding of the primary curriculum is essential, along with the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and create a positive and focused learning environment. In some longer-term cover situations, you may also be expected to contribute to lesson planning and preparation to support continuity for pupils. To be successful in this role, you must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status and have at least one year of experience teaching within a primary school setting. You will need to be confident entering unfamiliar classrooms, quickly establishing positive relationships with both pupils and staff, and adapting your approach to meet a range of learning needs and personalities. A creative and flexible teaching style, strong observation skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to changing classroom dynamics are all important.
