Job Title: Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, 1-to-1, Erdington
We are currently looking for a 1-1 teaching support assistant for a pupil in a mainstream primary school in KS1 but working closer to EYFS level due to global development delay.
The pupil is autistic and has severe learning difficulties. They are working at a lower level so experience with reception age groups would also be beneficial.
The 1-1 support should be experienced in the primary curriculum and with helping to support children with autism. The position is long term for the right person and will be ongoing for the academic year and potentially beyond for the right candidate.
This role will be working Monday to Friday, during term-time only, working 08:30 until 3:30, term-time only. The school is located in Erdington and easily accessible via public transport. This role will be paid a week in arrears at a PAYE daily rate starting from £89 per day.
Requirements:
- You must have nursery or primary school experience
- Experience working with children with special educational needs
- You must have a DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
