Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary with the view to go permanent
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and eager to make a positive impact in their education? This school is a highly regarded mainstream secondary school and is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work across various classes and subjects, providing invaluable support to students, particularly those with additional learning needs. You’ll often work in small group settings, tailoring your approach to each student's unique requirements and helping them to succeed academically and personally. This role will offer you the opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support SEN students across different subjects and classes
• Work closely with teachers to assist in small group learning
• Provide individualised assistance to help students meet their educational goals
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
• Enthusiastic individuals with a genuine interest in education
• Experience or a keen interest in working with SEN students
• Resilience, patience and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience in education or working with SEN students is a plus, but not essential. We welcome applicants who are passionate about this role and eager to develop their skills in an inclusive and caring environment.
