Maths Teacher Pay: To the Main Pay Scale (MPS) Location: Salisbury Start Date: September 2025 Hours: Monday to Friday | Term Time Only We are recruiting a Maths Teacher on behalf of a specialist all-through SEND school in Salisbury, offering a full-time, term-time only position. This role is ideal for a passionate and resilient teacher experienced in supporting students with complex needs. The school provides a trauma-informed, therapeutic learning environment for students from primary through secondary phases (ages 5–16), many of whom have experienced adversity and require a highly personalised approach to learning. As a Maths Teacher, you will lead maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students, supporting both their academic progress and emotional development. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of support staff and therapists, using trauma-informed and therapeutic strategies embedded across the school. The successful Maths Teacher will be confident in managing behaviour and creating a calm, supportive, and structured classroom environment. The ideal candidate will: - Essential: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential: Maths specialism - Be experienced in working with students with SEND, SEMH, or behaviour needs - Be confident planning and delivering differentiated maths lessons - Bring empathy, patience, and strong behaviour management skills - Have experience or understanding of trauma-informed practice (desirable) What we offer: - Pay aligned to the Main Pay Scale (MPS) - Ongoing CPD including weekly after-school training every Wednesday - A highly supportive, well-resourced school environment - Opportunity to make a lasting impact in a specialist, all-through SEND setting Please note: An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
