We are seeking a 1-to-1 SEND teaching assistant to work in the Dudley area to support a child who has ADHD & is severely autistic. He is partially integrated into the classroom, however requires additional support to access the curriculum. Whilst the student himself is in Year 9, he is working below this age, therefore requires a 1-to-1 SEN TA to support him to build up his self-esteem but also is committed to supported him long-term on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday, 08:30 until 15:30. Previous in-school experience would be advantageous but is not essential to be considered for this vacancy. You will need an enhanced DBS certificate (adult & child) on the update service or an ability to pay for a new DBS if successful at interview for this vacancy. This role will be working Monday to Friday, 08:30 till 15:30, during term-time only.
