Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Openshaw, Manchester Start Date: 1st September 2025 Contract Type: Long-Term Working Hours: Full-Time, 8:30am - 3:30pm Axcis Education is working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive primary school located in the Openshaw area of Manchester. This welcoming and supportive school is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team on a long-term basis from September 2025. This full-time role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, both in class and through targeted intervention work. The successful candidate will be confident in working alongside the teaching team to deliver tailored support and will be expected to show initiative, a strong understanding of learning strategies, and the ability to engage pupils in their learning. It is essential to have a strong grasp of the national curriculum and a commitment to supporting every child’s educational journey. Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants (or equivalent), with good literacy and numeracy skills, and experience working with children in a school setting in the UK.
