Job Title: Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a large, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in the Moston area of Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive staff team in a vibrant 3-form entry school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring they access the curriculum and thrive both academically and socially.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning and care.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and the recording of pupil progress.
Essential Criteria:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working in a UK classroom, preferably within a primary setting.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including those with EHCPs.
- A positive, proactive, and patient approach to supporting learning and development.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
