Job Title: ASD Teaching Assistant
Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Location: All-Through SEND School | Sutton Contract: Full-Time | Term-Time Only Start Date: ASAP Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to join our all-through SEND school in Sutton, working with pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). You’ll play a vital role in the classroom, providing one-to-one and small group support, promoting emotional regulation, and helping pupils access learning in a structured and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, and committed to helping every pupil reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: • Support pupils with MLD and ASD across different key stages • Work closely with the class teacher and therapy teams • Assist with implementing EHCP targets and behaviour support plans • Promote independence, confidence, and positive learning outcomes Experience with SEND is desirable, but the right attitude and commitment are essential.
