Job Title: ASD Primary SEND Teacher Assistant
Axcis are working with a mainstream school in the Oldham area to recruit a teaching assistant for their SEND class. The role is Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm and will be ongoing. Candidates will be required to support two pupils in the school’s SEND KS1 class attached to their mainstream provision. The two autistic pupils have a range of needs and behaviours and with the right support is a joy to be around. Experience with ASD is essential for this role as you will need to draw on your experience and knowledge to devise strategies to engage the pupils and manage their behaviour. The school has been praised for their commitment to their SEND class and the facilities they provide.
