Job Title: Youth Worker
North London/ Full-Time/ ASAP
Have you previously worked for or volunteered with a youth group? If so, we want to hear from you ASAP. Youth worker roles equip you with a wealth of transferable skills that are invaluable for a career as a teaching assistant.
As a teaching assistant, you will:
Support Classroom Activities: Assist teachers with planning and conducting engaging classroom activities,
Assist with Academic Development: Help students progress academically through tailored support and encouragement.
Provide One-to-One Support: Work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including but not limited to SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health)
Engage and Encourage: Ensure students receive the personalised attention they need to thrive.
What We’re Looking For:
Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
Enhanced DBS Check: You either have an enhanced DBS check or are willing to apply for one.
Passion for Education: A genuine enthusiasm for pursuing a career in education is essential.
Excellent Communication Skills: You should possess strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students and staff.
