Job Title: Year 6 Teacher
Axcis Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Ormskirk. This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate educator looking to make a lasting impact on pupils during a crucial stage of their primary education.
The successful candidate will initially join the school on a temp to perm basis, working a set number of weeks through Axcis before joining the school on a permanent contract
The Role
As the Year 6 Teacher, you will:
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Prepare pupils for SATs while maintaining a positive and inspiring learning environment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement, and wellbeing.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6.
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
• Have a sound understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Be committed to raising attainment and supporting pupils' individual needs.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
