Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Teaching Assistant – Chorley & Surrounding Areas
Axcis Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Chorley and the surrounding areas.
Pay: From £93 per day
We are looking for caring, reliable and proactive individuals who have experience supporting children with SEND and are passionate about helping children learn, develop and thrive in an educational setting.
The role:
* Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
* Providing 1:1 or small group support where required
* Supporting pupils with their learning, communication and development
* Working closely with teachers and other school staff
* Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months’ experience working with SEND in any setting
• Extensive personal experience supporting a family member with SEND will also be considered
• Enhanced Child Workforce or Child & Adult Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
• Reliable and able to commute to Chorley and surrounding areas
• Available to work 8:30am–3:30pm
Full-time and part-time positions are available.
This is a great opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Support Workers, Care Workers or individuals with strong personal SEND experience who are looking to work in education.
