Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Solihull?
We are recruiting for a supportive and inclusive school seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a hands-on role, supporting students both academically and with personal care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
Support students with needs such as Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN
Comfortable delivering personal care (essential)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, reliable, and committed
