Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Axcis Education is working with a local primary school near Smethwick in Birmingham and is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Teaching Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant who is seeking a new challenge. The school has state-of-the-art facilities and currently holds an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating. The senior leadership team is passionate about providing high-quality support and education for all pupils.
This is a full-time Teaching Assistant position starting in September, working Monday to Friday each week. The role will involve supporting children with a range of complex SEND needs. In this role, candidates will be paid £92.63 per day.
The Role
• Supporting children between the ages of 4 and 11
• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Providing students with personalised and tailored support to meet individual needs
• Building meaningful, positive relationships with all students
• Bringing a calming influence to the classroom
Requirements
• Previous experience working in a primary school
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A caring and patient nature, with the ability to foster positive and meaningful relationships with all pupils
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Availability to work 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
