Job Title: 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant (Autism – Non-Verbal ASD) Location: Primary School in Greenford, Ealing Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday | 08:30am – 3:30pm 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant – Non-Verbal ASD A welcoming and supportive primary school in Greenford, Ealing is seeking a dedicated and energetic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a young child with non-verbal Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is a rewarding full-time opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with Autism, particularly pupils who require alternative communication methods and consistent behavioural support. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the child access learning, regulate emotions, and develop communication and social skills within a nurturing school environment. The Role You will support the pupil throughout the school day, helping them remain engaged and focused during learning activities. The child is based in a dedicated classroom and has access to on-site sensory rooms to support their individual needs. The role requires the use of PECS and Makaton to support communication, understanding, and engagement.
