Job Title: Teaching Assistant
We are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a large all-through SEND school in Frome. This Teaching Assistant role involves supporting young people with complex and severe learning needs. The Teaching Assistant will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build communication skills, and develop social, emotional and behavioural confidence.
Role Details:
• Location: Frome
• Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
• Pay: £14.15 to £14.50 per hour depending on experience
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with complex needs, ASC, SEMH and SEND across all age groups
• Provide one-to-one and small group learning support as a Teaching Assistant
• Assist with behaviour management, emotional regulation and communication development
• Support pupils in accessing a personalised curriculum and structured routines
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO and specialist staff to meet individual needs

• Experience working with SEND, ASC, SEMH or complex needs
