Job Title: Teaching Assistant
SEND Teaching Assistant – SEN Provision – Mainstream Primary – Tower Hamlets
£95–£105 per day | Full-Time | Long-Term
Axcis are supporting a mainstream primary school in Tower Hamlets with a dedicated SEN provision. They are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work within the provision supporting multiple pupils with autism.
This is a structured, well-run provision with clear routines and specialist support strategies in place. The team is experienced, collaborative and genuinely committed to inclusive education.
About the Role
You will:
• Support pupils within the SEN provision across small groups
• Deliver targeted interventions aligned to EHCP outcomes
• Use visual schedules and structured learning strategies
• Support communication and social development
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and SENCO
What We Are Looking For
• Experience working within autism provision or special school settings
• Understanding of structured teaching approaches
• Confident, proactive and organised approach
• Ability to support multiple pupils with varying needs
