Axcis Education is currently recruiting a teaching assistant to work in a welcoming primary school. This role is ideal for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a school environment.
You will work alongside class teachers to support pupils both academically and socially, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
Essential Requirements:
• Punctual, reliable, and professional
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the Update Service
