Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are currently working with a welcoming secondary school in the Widnes area, who are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Key Stage 3. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative school community where your contribution will have a meaningful and lasting impact.
About the Role
As a KS3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside subject teachers and pastoral staff to support students both academically and emotionally. You may work with small groups, deliver targeted interventions, or provide 1:1 support to help pupils access the curriculum and build confidence in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons across a range of KS3 subjects
Assisting pupils with classwork in English, Maths, Science and other curriculum areas
Promoting positive behaviour and helping maintain a productive learning environment
Supporting students with organisation, study skills and independent learning
Preparing resources and assisting with classroom or intervention setup
Monitoring progress and providing clear feedback to teaching staff
Encouraging resilience, confidence and emotional well-being
Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive school culture

Pay Rates
From £13.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
