Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School | Walthamstow (E17) Start Date: Early October 2025 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:30pm Contract: Full-time | Long-term Pay: £89 per day (PAYE) for 6.5 hours of work A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Walthamstow (E17) is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from early October on a long-term basis. This is a highly rewarding role for someone with experience supporting students who face barriers to learning, particularly those with Autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and challenging behaviour. You’ll work closely with pupils both 1:1 and in small group settings to build trust, support emotional regulation, and help them engage positively with school life.
