Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant Location: Wandsworth, London Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm Salary: Paid to Scale We are currently seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive education team in the vibrant community of Wandsworth, London. If you have a passion for facilitating the educational and personal growth of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they access the curriculum effectively. - Assist in creating and implementing individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). - Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to prepare learning materials and adapt resources to meet student needs. - Monitor and report on the progress of students, contributing to the assessment and review process. - Develop positive relationships with the students, promoting self-confidence and independence. - Assist with the general health and welfare of students, including implementing personal care plans as needed.
