Teaching Assistant – All-Through SEND School Location: Chessington, Kingston Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-time, Long-term Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM Ref: CHESS We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a specialist all-through SEND school in Chessington, supporting pupils aged 4 to 19 with severe and complex learning needs. About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: – Support students with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), and various communication needs – Assist with classroom learning, sensory activities, and engagement tasks – Provide personal care support when needed – Work alongside teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a nurturing learning environment What We’re Looking For – Experience working with children or young people with SEND (preferred, not essential) – A calm, caring, and proactive approach – Willingness to assist with personal care duties – A current Enhanced DBS or readiness to apply for one This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact in a rewarding and supportive school community.
