Job Title: Teaching Assistant
A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Camden is seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to join their team. This role involves supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and speech and language needs. Key Details: Start Date: January Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Location: Camden About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Work closely with students requiring additional support to help them achieve their full potential. Support students with SEN, particularly focusing on ASD and speech and language needs. Collaborate with teachers and SEN coordinators to deliver individualized education plans. Assist in creating an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. Requirements: Prior experience working in schools and supporting students with SEN is essential. A strong understanding of strategies to support students with ASD and speech and language needs. Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
