Job Title: Teaching Assistant-September Start
Position Type: Full Time Salary: £85–£95 per day, depending on experience Start Date: September 2025 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a full-time position working 1:1 with pupils in Years 7–10 who have Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and/or physical disabilities. The role involves working under the guidance of the school’s SENDCo (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator). Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in school life Implement and support personalised learning plans under the direction of the SENDCo Contribute to the inclusive ethos and positive learning environment of the school Requirements: Essential: Experience working with children or young people with SEND Desirable: Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting The School Ethos: A school where every person belongs A school that values learning and high aspiration A school that rises to challenges and celebrates achievement If you are passionate about supporting young people to thrive, and believe in the power of inclusive education, we would love to hear from you.
