SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary | Waltham Forest, E17
Start: After February half-term
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4pm
Contract: Full-time | Until the end of the academic year
A welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest (E17) is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from after the February half-term, supporting pupils with a range of complex needs.
You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide structured, nurturing support, helping children with Autism (ASD) and social, emotional, or behavioural challenges thrive in the classroom.
The school is looking for someone who:
Has proven experience supporting young children with complex SEN needs
Is confident working with pupils with ASD and SEMH needs
Brings a calm, patient, and proactive approach to learning
Is reliable, committed, and passionate about making a difference
