Job Title: Teaching Assistant, secondary
Axcis Education are looking for a teaching assistant, for a long term role in a mainstream secondary school, based in the Wigan area, on a full-time basis. The school is a large mainstream secondary but a number of their pupils have additional needs including autism, MLD, ADHD and SEMH difficulties. The school are hoping to appoint a long term teaching assistant to start from September, for the full academic year. The school is a large secondary school and behaviours in school can sometimes be quite challenging, therefore candidates need to be strong and confident in their behaviour management skills. The role will start, on a full-time basis from September and candidates applying for this role will be expected to meet with the headteacher for an interview, prior to the role starting. The candidate should be hard working, empathetic, confident and a team player. To apply for this role, you must have childcare experience and be seeking a long term, full time role. School hours are 830am - 330pm Monday - Friday and candidates will ideally have some SEND experience. Pay starts at £96 per day.
