Axcis Education are looking for a teaching assistant, for a long term role in a mainstream secondary school, based in the Wigan area, on a full-time basis. The school is a large mainstream secondary but a number of their pupils have additional needs including autism, MLD, ADHD and SEMH difficulties. The school are hoping to appoint a long term teaching assistant to start from September, for the full academic year. The school is a large secondary school and behaviours in school can sometimes be quite challenging, therefore candidates need to be strong and confident in their behaviour management skills. The role will start, on a full-time basis from September and candidates applying for this role will be expected to meet with the headteacher for an interview, prior to the role starting.
