Axcis Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our team, working across the Stockport borough. The Role: We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools, supporting students with a range of learning difficulties. These include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will play a key role in: - Providing 1:1 or small group support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). - Assisting in the delivery of lessons, ensuring all pupils can engage and achieve their potential. - Implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with teachers and SENCOs. - Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being. - Adapting to a variety of educational settings, from day-to-day supply to long-term placements. The Ideal Candidate Will: - Be enthusiastic and adaptable. - Have experience (or a strong interest) in working with children with learning difficulties, Autism, ADHD, or speech and language challenges. - Be committed to promoting an inclusive learning environment. Requirements: - A DBS certificate registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one). - Relevant experience in education, childcare, or a related field is desirable. - A genuine passion for helping children succeed.
